Swap2Stars — Terms of Use

Important notice. Swap2Stars is a software interface that helps users prepare and submit token swap transactions on the TON blockchain via third‑party protocols. Digital assets are risky and transactions on public blockchains are generally irreversible.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Swap2Stars website, widget, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Definitions

“TON” means The Open Network blockchain and its public smart contract infrastructure.
“Stars” means the digital asset selected in the Service user interface as the output asset labeled “Stars” (for example, a token/jetton on TON that may be displayed as “Stars”). The Service does not represent that “Stars” are issued or guaranteed by any particular party.
“Wallet” means a non‑custodial wallet software or hardware you use to sign and broadcast transactions.
“Third‑Party Protocols/Services” includes Omniston and STON.fi, wallets, RPC providers, block explorers, liquidity sources, and smart contracts not controlled by Swap2Stars.

3. Service description

The Service provides a website‑hosted interface and embeddable widget that can help you request price quotes and generate transaction data for swapping supported tokens on TON into “Stars” (or other supported output assets) by routing through third‑party liquidity aggregation. You must connect a compatible Wallet to review, sign, and broadcast any transaction yourself.

Non‑custodial. Swap2Stars does not take custody of your digital assets, does not hold your private keys, and does not execute transactions on your behalf. All transactions are executed by smart contracts on TON after you authorize them in your Wallet.

4. Third‑party protocols and dependencies

The Service uses Omniston (ston.fi/omniston), a liquidity aggregation protocol provided by STON.fi. Your swaps may be routed to and executed via Omniston and/or other liquidity sources integrated into Omniston.

Third‑party terms apply. Your use of Omniston and STON.fi products is subject to their own terms and policies. Please review:

If there is a conflict between these Terms and third‑party terms for third‑party services, the third‑party terms control for that third‑party service.

Swap2Stars does not own, operate, or control Omniston, STON.fi, or any third‑party smart contracts, and does not guarantee their availability, correctness, or security.

5. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if you are of legal age in your jurisdiction and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all laws, rules, and regulations applicable to you.

6. Countries of operation and excluded jurisdictions

The Service is intended to be used only in jurisdictions where access to and use of the Service is lawful and does not require the Service operator to maintain a local legal presence, registration, authorization, or license. We do not represent that the Service is appropriate or available for use in every location.

6.1 Excluded Jurisdictions

Without limiting the generality of the above, Swap2Stars does not offer the Service, and you must not use the Service, if you are located in, ordinarily resident in, or organized under the laws of, any of the following jurisdictions (the “Excluded Jurisdictions”):

Afghanistan
Algeria
Bangladesh
China (including Hong Kong and Macau)
Egypt
Kuwait
Nepal

We may update the Excluded Jurisdictions list at any time. In addition, the Service is not offered where prohibited or where offering it would require licensing, registration, authorization, or a local legal presence.

7. Sanctions, restricted persons, and prohibited use

You represent and warrant that you are not: (i) subject to economic or trade sanctions; (ii) owned or controlled by, acting for, or acting on behalf of, any sanctioned person; and (iii) located in a territory subject to comprehensive sanctions or embargoes.

You further agree not to use the Service to transact with, facilitate transactions for, or otherwise deal with any sanctioned person, entity, or address, or for any illegal purpose, including money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions evasion.

“Sanctions” may include restrictions administered or enforced by authorities such as the United Nations Security Council, the European Union, the United Kingdom (HMT), and the United States (OFAC), among others, as applicable.

8. No advice; informational service only

Nothing in the Service constitutes, or should be construed as, legal, tax, financial, accounting, investment, or other professional advice. Swap2Stars does not provide recommendations, endorsements, or guarantees regarding any token, “Stars”, swap path, price, rate, or outcome. You are solely responsible for your decisions and for verifying all transaction details before signing.

9. Fees, pricing, and transaction outcomes

Swaps may involve network fees (gas), liquidity provider fees, protocol fees, and/or third‑party fees. The Service may display estimated fees and rates, but estimates can change due to network conditions, market movement, routing changes, or other factors.

You acknowledge and agree that blockchain transactions are generally irreversible, and Swap2Stars cannot cancel, reverse, or refund any transaction once broadcast to the network.

10. Risks and acknowledgements

By using the Service, you acknowledge and accept the risks of using digital assets and decentralized protocols, including but not limited to:

volatile prices and slippage;
smart contract vulnerabilities, exploits, bugs, or unexpected behavior;
failed, delayed, or front‑run transactions;
network congestion, forks, outages, RPC failures, or wallet failures;
loss of access to your Wallet, private keys, or recovery phrase;
regulatory changes that may restrict or prohibit your activity;
token issuer, bridge, or liquidity risks, including scams or counterfeit tokens.

11. User responsibilities

You agree that you will:

use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms;
verify token addresses, amounts, slippage limits, and destination assets before signing;
maintain adequate security over your Wallet and devices;
not attempt to bypass geo‑blocking, sanctions screening, or other access controls (including via VPNs or proxies);
comply with any applicable tax reporting obligations.

12. Intellectual property

The Service and its content (excluding third‑party trademarks and content) are owned by the Service operator and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service except as expressly permitted by these Terms.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that: (i) you have violated these Terms; (ii) you are a sanctioned or restricted person; (iii) your use may violate applicable law; or (iv) your use poses risk to the Service, third‑party protocols, or other users.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. Swap2Stars disclaims all warranties and conditions of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including without limitation: merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non‑infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error‑free, or free of harmful components, or that any swap will achieve a particular rate or outcome.

15. Full liability waiver; limitation of liability

Liability waiver. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you voluntarily assume all risks arising from your access to and use of the Service, Omniston, STON.fi, and any other Third‑Party Protocols/Services. You agree that Swap2Stars will not be liable for any losses, damages, or claims arising from: (i) your transactions; (ii) third‑party protocol behavior; (iii) smart contract failures; (iv) loss of private keys; (v) market movements; (vi) outages; (vii) hacks, exploits, or security incidents; or (viii) regulatory action affecting you.

Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will Swap2Stars, its operators, contributors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or digital assets, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Swap2Stars’s aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) USD $100 or (b) the amount of fees (if any) paid by you to Swap2Stars for use of the Service in the 30 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain liabilities. In such jurisdictions, the above limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Swap2Stars and its operators, contributors, affiliates, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (i) your use of the Service; (ii) your violation of these Terms; (iii) your violation of any law or third‑party right; or (iv) your interaction with Omniston, STON.fi, or other Third‑Party Protocols/Services via the Service.

17. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates the latest revision. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Governing law; dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Dubai, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
